Vintage Children's Books

I have quite a large collection of vintage children's books the artwork in them is fantastic and quite difficult to find. I mainly collect books from the Golden Era 1900-1930.

I will start with Hilda Cowham because she is one of my favourite vintage artists.

Hild Cowham's Blacklegs and Others pub Kegan Paul,

Trench, Trubner & Co. Limited 1911

I love this book, expensive but I was so excited when I got it. I scanned all the B&W illustrations in and made reference sheets out of them. The book up to page 39 is text with  beautiful B&W illustrations the rest of the book is full page colour and grey scale Illustrations all on high grade glossy paper.

76 pages Full page colour illustrations Full page B&W illustrations and B&W illustrations amongst text.
