Vintage Children's Books
I have quite a large collection of vintage children's books the artwork in them is fantastic and quite difficult to find. I mainly collect books from the Golden Era 1900-1930.
I will start with Hilda Cowham because she is one of my favourite vintage artists.

I love this book, expensive but I was so excited when I got it. I scanned all the B&W illustrations in and made reference sheets out of them. The book up to page 39 is text with beautiful B&W illustrations the rest of the book is full page colour and grey scale Illustrations all on high grade glossy paper.
76 pages Full page colour illustrations Full page B&W illustrations and B&W illustrations amongst text.
Curly Heads And Long Legs Illustrated By Hilda Cowham
Published by Raphael & Tuck & Sons, Ltd. An expensive book now but very good not my favourite but will not disappoint i tend to prefer the b&w illustrations more than the colour in his book 140 pages 12 colour plates and tons of B&W illustrations within the text.

I became quite obsessed with collecting Little folks they are packed full of really great art, most have six to twelve colour plates by the best artists of the day. This one is not bad but the earier ones are better.
